Back when I was in school, I&#8217;d wait until the very last day to do any kind of assignment. How far we&#8217;ve come.<\/p>\n<p>The process of filing taxes is so painful. Even with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B0043T6LHA\/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=evillemur-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=B0043T6LHA\">TurboTax<\/a> and all of its auto-importing magic. There&#8217;s still a whole bunch of items you have to check off. How does anyone do this without tax software? Even with the software, I feel like I have to guess at some things. Thank goodness I don&#8217;t have to directly fill in those boxes labelled 37a and whatnot.<\/p>\n<p>Like the past few years, this year I again had to pay the federal government money. Over $2500! I could&#8217;ve bought something with that. Something cool. My reward for filling out all that tax stuff was a big payment to the government.
